• It all starts with a stock frame and a steel body right off the street.
    Then the team gets to work, designing, modifying, strengthening and screwing together a D-Max that can take on the Dakar. Our 2011 car is the toughest to come out of the Garland Motorsports shop yet, with lots of small improvements learned from years of off-road racing success and our past 2 Dakar entries.
    While our Isuzu D-Max pick-up is purpose-built and race-prepared to stand the punishment of the Dakar, more than half of the car is built using OE Isuzu production parts and is completely recognisable as a production Isuzu D-Max pick-up.
